Impressive line-up for Team AKKA-ASP

French squad Team AKKA-ASP will enter four Mercedes-AMG GT3 in all ten rounds of the 2017 Blancpain GT Series and adds a handful of exciting new names to its driver line-up.

Team AKKA-ASP sticks with the Mercedes-AMG GT3 that gave them the win at the 2016 season finale at Barcelona and a second place finish in the Total 24 Hours of Spa. In 2017 it double its effort for the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup, and also enter an additional car for the Sprint Cup.

Tristan Vautier, Daniel Juncadella and former single-seater ace Félix Serrallés from Puerto Rico will share the #88 Mercedes-AMG, with the latter two to compete in the sprint races.

Michael Meadows leaves Belgian Audi Club Team WRT for Team AKKA-ASP and gets GP2 star Raffaele Marciello and Mathias Lauda as teammates on the #90 in the Endurance Cup rounds. Meadows and Marciello team up for the Sprint races.

Jean-Luc Beaubelique, runner-up in the Am Cup in the 2016 Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup, will share the #87 Mercedes-AMG GT3s with upcoming talent Jules Gounon while Mauro Ricci while be the third driver for the endurance races.

More familiar names on the #89, with Daniele Perfetti, Ludovic Badey and Alex Fontana teaming up for the Endurance Cup races. The #89 Mercedes-AMG will also compete in the Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup, but with Jean-Philippe Belloc and Christophe Bourret at the wheel.

Additionally, the team will also continue its Blancpain GT Sports Club programme, fielding two cars for Maurice Ricci and Anthony Pons.
